Below the video, you will find photos of my process making this project.
This was our big film project for the TV Field Production class in the summer of 2025! This was to help us students get a feel for what it's like to be on set for the production phase of a film. Maria Garza, an alumni of LSC-Kingwood's Video and Post-Production program, not only wrote the script for the film, but was also our director for the production. Once we were done shooting, the footage was compiled and distributed to the class. Each student was required to make their own rough cut, and the one most favored would be taken into finalization. Our professor gave Maria the final say in which rough cut she liked the most; lo and behold, she chose none other than me! This was a very exciting moment for me, as my goal going through this program was to hone my video editing skills and make that my route of expertise. To be recognized for this and contribute to the fruition of this film's vision was an amazing opportunity for me.
