I was assigned a project by my 8th grade history teacher to explore a potential alternative outcome if George Washington hadn't survived the Civil War. I imagined a life without democracy, and instead, a life under a ruler; somebody with more control and authoritative tendencies could've taken the place of Washington, which would have changed the entire directory of our country in the years to come. In this video edit, I tried to mimic the editing style of the history documentaries we would watch in class, and how they would be broken up into subcategories based on the story's beginning, middle, and end.
